Are you feeling overwhelmed, sad, and exhausted? Me, too. I’d love to say that I have a solution for that, but I mostly have lemon bars, a new writing plan, and an urge to clean the compost bin. I was looking for things that make me smile, hoping that the smile would spark motivation.
And I found it.
I took this video at one of the last summer concerts on Venice Beach. We planned to do a little dancing with our neighbors (free community events rule!) and even more head nodding to the band’s tunes when we saw the bubbles rise. We oooooh’d and ahhhhhhh’d at the bubbles, cheered the Ozzy tribute, and then walked back to the Big V sculpture just as the sun was lowering toward the water.
So, if you love randomly encountering someone blowing bubbles as the sun hovers over Venice Beach and the Pacific Ocean, this video is for you, too.
