Now that the rush of holiday baking is largely over, I thought I’d go back and see what the most popular baking recipes were on the blog this year. Don’t worry – I’m still going to be experimenting and learning in 2022. I’m still very much a beginner, and I have a lot to learn! But I’ll also be trying new recipes using ingredients grown from our outside and inside container gardens. I think I’ll also convince Andy to start sharing his recipes in the next couple of months. He made some Christmas beef stew that was too fantastic not to share. Exciting stuff ahead!

Note: I wasn’t surprised to see the no-knead bread recipe in the top slot. Month after month, it has ruled this blog. I get it. It’s one of my favorite baking recipes, too. In fact, I made it a minimum of three times a month for most of 2021. I picture it continuing on our roster for until summer because it easy to make, even easier to clean up, and so very, very delicious.
I was also thrilled to see that you were willing to take the plunge with me as I tried to bake my first ever challah bread and focaccia bread — particularly since I burned my hand taking the steam pan out of the oven during the focaccia bake. Lessons learned!
